Founded in 2012, MF is a specialist peer led organisation that offers innovative interventions to young people using a resilience-based approach.
Simon Morley (Managing Director & Co Founder) undertook a research project; looking at the needs of the dual heritage community in Nottingham in 2013. The topics discussed were criminal justice, education, identity & substance misuse. Simon quickly identified that all young people who are effected by these topics, could benefit this specialist support.
Now, MF specialise in working with individuals involved in gang culture, county lines and serious youth violence.
MF work with some of the most vulnerable disadvantaged young people within social care, criminal justice and the community.
All MF Staff are qualified and lived experiences, which provide indentification, empathy and a mutual understanding. Which enables a positive effect with engagement.
MF still deliver bespoke services around dual heritage identity for this cohort of young people.
